Unity Day 2020

Tomorrow, October 21st is Unity Day.  Unity Day is a day we wear and share the color orange as a way to show we are united against bullying and united for kindness, acceptance and inclusion.  Don't forget to wear your orange tomorrow.

I hope you had a wonderful first day of school.  I know we had some technical issues, but hopefully you were able to login to most of your classes and got to meet briefly with each one.  Remember, tomorrow is an "odd" day, so you will meet with your 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th hour classes.  Welcome Back Rams!

Happy Last Day of School

While it wasn't the way I would have ever wanted or expected us to end the school year, I wish each of you a happy last day of school and a wonderful summer ahead.  I am so excited to be your counselor again in 8th Grade and look forward to seeing you in August (hopefully in person).  In the meantime, please don't hesitate to email me or call on my google voice number and let me know how your summer is going.  I will be thinking of each of you.  Love, Ms. B

Missing My Students

Hey LMS Students and Families....I really miss you all.  I was very sad to learn that we would not be returning to school for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.  I have been thinking about you. Random Acts of Kindness Week

Seventh Grade Character Council Students took a leadership role this year in hosting the first ever Random Acts of Kindness Week at LMS (complete with kind notes, morning announcements, and daily kindness challenges for both staff and students).  Random Acts of Kindness Week is celebrated each year starting on the 17th of February as a way to bring awareness to ripple effect that is created by demonstrating simple and thoughtful acts of kindness. We are hoping to make this a yearly tradition at LMS.

8th Grade Registration

Registration Lessons for 7th Graders started today.  Students were instructed on course offerings for 8th Grade and learned how to register for classes on line this year.  For more information, please go to the LMS Website and look under the "Curriculum" tab.  Here you will find the 2020-2021 Curriculum Handbook as well as step by step directions for registering for elective classes.  Registration sheets (once completed on line) are to be printed and signed by the student and the parent.  These forms are due to the Welcome Center by Thursday, February 13th.  Questions or concerns?  Please don't hesitate to let me know.
